The founding missionaries of the Christian Bible Church in San Cristóbal, Mr. Dawson and his wife, Doña Marcelina Dawson, implemented the ministry in 1975, beginning with the Family Plan, which she herself helped to implement. Then, in 1977, Pastor Roberto Peynne continued this work, bringing in Sister Ruth Ester del Rosario as Director. This led to the transformation of what is known today as the Comprehensive Development Center (CDI). In 1999, Viddalys Tejeda succeeded her. During her tenure, she developed new opportunities for the sponsored children and also participated with young people in the Youth Leadership Training Program, supporting them in their technical and professional careers.

Currently, the church leadership is undergoing a period of transformation in which everyone is involved in creating an environment of development and prosperity in the community, so that they may also experience the Lordship of Christ in their lives and homes. Providing children in the program with vocational courses where they can pursue a technical or vocational profession, as well as for parents and the community in general!
